The 2024 PGA Championship, the second golf major of the year, gets underway Thursday morning at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
This is the fourth time the PGA Championship will be played at Valhalla, following tournaments in 1996, 2000 and 2014. Rory McIlroy took home the Wanamaker Trophy in 2014, but he hasn't won a golf major since.
McIlroy, who recently celebrated his 35th birthday, is back in the field along with four-time champion Tiger Woods and defending champ Brooks Koepka, who is attempting to become the fourth golfer to win at least four PGA Championship titles. (Walter Hagen and Jack Nicklaus 5; Woods, 4).
